Freediving is not a solo sport, having a support network is essential for me to perform at depth. Whether this network is personal or professional is equally important. I am always looking for partners to join me on the journey, and together we can form a relationship that equally benefits both parties for a long time to come.

MARLOE WATCHES

Marloe is an independent British watch company that produces traditional hand-wound watches of incredible quality. They approached me with the idea of working together on some projects in 2023 and we started working on a collaboration. They have some exciting projects in development and I’m looking forward to a long-lasting partnership.

DEEP HUMANS

My relationship with deep humans began in 2022 when I was travelling to the Vertical Blue free diving competition in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, EasyJet lost my entire kit bag with everything I needed to compete for that year, My monofin, bi fins and all my wetsuits disappeared. Deep Humans stepped up and offered to help by giving me the wetsuits I needed for the competition season, and eventually asking me to become a brand ambassador. I am seriously impressed by their suits, the quality of their neoprene is excellent and the durability of the glue seams and tailor work is better than anything I’ve ever used before. Half of Dahab is wearing Deep Human suits now and you will begin to see far more of them on the world freediving stage as their popularity grows.

Having been a member of the Blue Element safety team in 2018 and 2019 I had the opportunity to be sponsored by Alchemy with Bi-fins. The V3 and short model V3pro. These fins are remarkable, you can apply great power with very little lactic in your legs. 5 years later and they are still my day to day work fins.

Freediving has exploded in popularity in recent years. Post covid the world has been made acutely aware of the benefits of taking care of our bodies and minds. Freediving is the perfect sport to show these ideas to the world.

Freediving is on the cusp of going mainstream, with the release of films such as ‘The Deepest Breath’ on Netflix the sport will be showcased to a wider audience. Freediving will soon go the way of other previously fringe sports like skateboarding, surfing, and climbing.
